The next addition to Samsung’s hugely successful Galaxy S handset line has been leaked by the manufacturer itself appearing in a video at CES 2012.

Samsung has started a frantic flurry of rumours after releasing a video showing its ‘Best of CES 2012′ seemingly leaking the much rumoured Samsung Galaxy S3 handset.

Tipped to follow in the footsteps of its phenomenally successful predecessor the Samsung Galaxy S II and be officially unveiled at MWC 2012 next month the third-generation handset looks to have made an early albeit brief appearance.

Showing its face around 7 minutes into the video, the smartphone is part of a demo showcasing Samsung’s wireless remote functions for its new range of digital cameras. Whilst the mystery device appears to sport a form factor similar to that of the S II, its oversized screen and minimalist bezel have set it apart as a potential first glimpse of the Samsung Galaxy S3.

Tipped as touting a hefty 2GHz dual-core CPU with 2GB of RAM the Samsung Galaxy S3 is lined up to land with a whopping 4.6-inch Super AMOLED Plus HD display and an impressive 12-megapixel camera with 1080p full HD video recording capabilities.

Whilst some reports touted the S3 as being branded the Samsung Galaxy S 3D in order to make way for a 3D display we can’t see Sammy tarnishing the next instalment to its high-end handset franchise with widely unwanted 3D technologies.
