Nintendo Wii U will launch globally this year
Nintendo’s hotly anticipated Wii U next generation console will hit the US, Japan, Australia and Europe before the end of 2012
Nintendo will launch the Wii U in the US, Europe, Australia and Japan this year, according to president Satoru Iwata.
The news, announced during a Nintendo financial statement in Tokyo, curbs fears that any major territory will be left out when the next-gen console finally lands.
No official launch date or price has been confirmed, but more details are widely expected to emerge at E3 in June.
